Posted on April 3rd, 2010, 8:02 pm by audioburnr

Based upon Apples earlier iPod Camera Connector, which sold for the same price, the new Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit $29 comes with both a Dock Connector-to-USB adapter and a Dock Connector-based SD Card reader, enabling you to connect either a camera or an SD Card to transfer pictures to the iPad. Pictures can be organized in Photos and used with various applications, including iWork apps, then transferred back to your computer.

  • Concept RollTop

Posted on March 4th, 2010, 10:05 pm by audioburnr

Created by Orkin Design, the concept device would roll up just like a traditional newspaper, but when unfurled would offer a touchscreen OLED display. This idea has been out there for a while, but the cool twist here is the fact that it would serve as both a 13-inch laptop and a 17-inch dedicated computer display. The unit would also come with a detachable hub with a power adapter, a stylus, and a couple of USB ports.

  • Hulu May Charge Subscriptions on iPad

Posted on February 22nd, 2010, 10:40 am by Mauldor

Posted on February 5th, 2010, 2:48 pm by Mauldor

Apple may have decided against the appellation ‘iTablet’ – one of the rumoured names for the product now known as the iPad – but that hasn’t stopped UK computer supplier X2 claiming the name for its own.

The iTablet range comprises at least two models: one with a 12in, 1024 x 768 display, the other with a 10.2in screen of the same resolution. Both are based on Intel chips clocked at “up to 1.6GHz with 2GB of cache”.
